Why is my humidifier seal leaking?

The silicone gasket may be old or misaligned. Check the seal for cracks and ensure it is seated properly in the groove of the water tank.

Can I use a 'Filtered' water from a fridge in my humidifier?

It is better than tap water, but distilled is still preferred as fridge filters do not remove all minerals that cause scale buildup.
