How often are machines replaced?
Our CPAP machine rentals are designed for regular use up to 2 years or 5,840 hours. If you reach this limit, contact us for a newer CPAP model. We also have BiPAP machines available when clinically indicated.
How do you clean the machines?
We carefully sanitize all returned CPAP machine rentals and set each one aside for 7 days before shipping it to the next customer. We also ensure that all replaceable parts, such as filters and water tubs, are replaced with brand new ones.
Does the rental come with a heated humidifier and tubing?
Except for the Transcend Micro and AirMini, CPAP rental machines come with a new water tub and humidifier. Standard tubing is provided, but heated CPAP tubing can be purchased if desired. Each CPAP device delivers continuous air pressure to help maintain an open airway during sleep.
Does the rental include a CPAP mask?
To ensure personal hygiene, CPAP rental machines do not come with a CPAP mask.
What is the minimum rental period?
Our minimum rental period is one month.
Do the rental CPAP machines include a battery?
No.
Does the rental machine come with a travel bag?
Yes. Many units are compact enough to serve as a travel CPAP machine.
How do I return the CPAP rental?

Do you charge insurance?
We only accept credit and debit cards for our rental program. We do not bill health insurance directly. Check whether your plan may cover CPAP machine rentals or offer any rental insurance reimbursement.
Contact your insurance provider to confirm benefits; some insurance plans offer out-of-network reimbursement. Our straightforward pricing is often lower than that of local medical supply stores.
Do you accept PayPal or take FSA/HSA cards for rental orders?
No, we currently only accept credit and debit cards for rental orders. Even if your health savings account card isn’t accepted for rental checkout, you may consult your plan administrator about potential reimbursement.
Is this program available to international customers?
No, we currently only accept orders from within the United States, excluding U.S. territories.
How do you charge for subsequent months?
We charge your credit or debit card on file each month, starting from the initial order date. If your card has expired, please contact us to update it. These charges are processed as monthly payments.
What if I want to buy the machine after a few months' rental?
If you want to buy out your CPAP machine rental, please contact our customer service team. The monthly rental fees you have paid can be applied towards the purchase of the machine, up to a maximum of half of the current machine retail price. For more details on the buy-out process, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Why do you need to collect a deposit?
The deposit for the rental machines is held to cover any damages or non-return of the equipment. Once the rental period is over and the machine is returned in good condition, the deposit is refunded.
What if the machine is broken due to manufacturer defects?
If your rental machine is defective due to manufacturer issues, we will replace it for you.
What if I lose the machine parts that need to be returned?
In accordance with CPAP Ninja's rental policy, if any parts that need to be returned are lost, the renter will be charged the price of the part as listed on the website. Please note that there is a fee of $20.00 for misplaced machine manuals.
What if I break or lose the machine?
If you break or lose the rental machine, you will be charged up to 80% of the new machine price in accordance with CPAP Ninja's policy.
Prescription Required
A prescription is required to rent a CPAP machine. You can purchase a home sleep test from us if you have not had a sleep study. If you have previously purchased a machine from cpapninja.com, we may already have your prescription on file.
Otherwise, you can fax a copy to us at 1-866-936-3730 or email it to [email protected]. We must have a copy of your prescription before we can ship your rental. We can also contact your physician directly if needed.
These devices are categorized as durable medical equipment for medical compliance. Many insurance companies require a valid prescription and usage documentation for reimbursement.
Rental Period
Please note that our minimum rental period is 1 month and is rounded up to the nearest month. For example, if you keep the machine for 2 months and 14 days, you will be charged for 3 months. The rental period is calculated from the order date until the return drop-off date.
Please be aware that we do not offer refunds for the charged monthly costs. We have included a 10-day grace period to account for transit time before charging the next month's rental fee.
Shipping Address
To ensure the security of our rental machines, we only ship to credit card billing addresses. Shipping is available to the contiguous 48 states, and we offer free return shipping for these areas via USPS Flat Rate or UPS Ground. However, we regret that we are unable to ship to U.S. territories at this time.
What If the Machine Is Damaged When It Is Returned?
The machine must be returned without any defects. We strongly recommend you take pictures of any marks or defects you spot when you first receive the machine and send them to us for our records.
CPAP Ninja will charge up to 80% of the price of a new machine for rental machines that are lost or returned damaged. CPAP Ninja reserves the right to final interpretation/determination of the machine’s condition.
Rental Deposit Required
When placing an order, we will charge the machine rental fee, a setup fee, and a deposit to your credit or debit card. The deposit amount may vary based on the machine you select. Starting from the second charge, you will only be billed the monthly rental fee. Once the machine is returned, we will proceed to refund the deposit to you.
About your credit/debit card:
Customers are required to provide a credit or debit card under their name with a matching billing/shipping address. The card must have an expiration date of at least 3 months away. Customers are advised to contact us promptly for an update if their card is about to expire.
PayPal, and FSA/HSA cards are not accepted as payment methods for rental orders. When placing your order, please ensure that your card has sufficient funds to cover the monthly rental fee, a setup fee, and the deposit.
If there isn't enough fund available, your order might experience delays or could even be canceled. In the event that the monthly rental charge is declined, our team will promptly contact you to address the issue.
If transactions cannot be processed on time and we are unable to contact you for the return procedure, your deposit may not be returned in order to cover the cost of the machine.
