The HumidAir Heated Humidifier for the AirSense series by ResMed is a well-designed humidification system that has enhanced Climate Control technology as well as numerous other impressive features. The HumidAir will ensure that your humidity and temperature are kept at optimal levels throughout your entire therapy session. With the HumidAir you can reliably expect to avoid or lessen some of the unfortunate side consequences of therapy, such as nasal congestion, irritation, dryness, and sore throat. This water tub is available in Standard (hand wash only) and Cleanable (dishwasher safe) versions.

Tubing

The HumidAir is compatible with standard tubing, SlimLine tubing, and ClimateLineAir tubing. The ClimateLineAir tubing is a new invention by ResMed - it was designed specifically for the HumidAir of the AirSense 10 series. ClimateLineAir tubing offers advanced rainout protection and will guard against overheating more effectively. The HumidAir will not work with the traditional ClimateLine tubing from previous product lines.

Climate Control Auto Option

The HumidAir system has a special Auto option that allows the ResMed AirSense 10 humidifier to operate independently without constant patient participation. With the Auto option, patients can simply pre-set their desired humidity levels and temperature and then let the ResMed heated humidifier function autonomously. The Auto option allows patients to receive optimal humidification throughout therapy without hassle or complication.

Water Chamber

The water chamber for the HumidAir system has been designed to prevent water damage to your AirSense motor. In order to fill and refill your water chamber, you have to remove the chamber entirely from your AirSense 10 machine - it is not possible to fill the chamber while still keeping the chamber attached to the machine. This design feature ensures that no water damage will occur as a consequence of accidental spillage when filling the chamber.
