Halo Adhesives
Eclipse Halos are disposable, surgical-grade, corn and latex-free PBA adhesives that can be customized to fit your nose's shape. They offer a leak-free solution for users with facial hair and are more comfortable than traditional CPAP masks and nasal pillows, which can cause nostril chafing.
For optimal performance, apply Halos to clean, dry skin prepared with a mild astringent like witch hazel or alcohol. Avoid using makeup remover or soap containing oils and moisturizers, as they can interfere with the Halo adhesives.
No Headgear
Say goodbye to unsightly facial strap marks, hair issues, skin irritation, and other common problems associated with conventional CPAP masks. Eclipse eliminates these concerns, providing a comfortable and irritation-free CPAP experience. It's especially ideal for those dealing with hair loss due to CPAP mask use.
The Bleep Eclipse CPAP mask revolutionizes sleep apnea treatment by eliminating the need for uncomfortable straps found on most traditional masks that connect to your CPAP machine.
MagSeal™ Technology
The Eclipse CPAP mask interface incorporates MagSeal® Magnetic Port Technology™ for swift connections and disconnections between the Eclipse Connector Frame and Halos.
The frame boasts two nostril ports, each equipped with 8 magnets arranged in a circular fashion around the port opening. These magnets securely adhere to stainless steel magnetic rings on the Halo adhesives. Whether you're an active sleeper or a restless mover, the Eclipse ensures a leak-free night's sleep. Consider using a tube management system like a hose lift to prevent tube drag and entanglement.
This innovative technology makes the Bleep Eclipse CPAP mask one of the most user-friendly sleep apnea masks available, offering easier connections to your CPAP machine than traditional masks.
*Please note that the magnets used in the Eclipse comply with ICNIRP guidelines for general public use. However, it's important to keep the magnets at least 2" (50 mm) away from active metallic medical implants like pacemakers and defibrillators.
FAQs
Which CPAP Machines Work with the Eclipse?
Thanks to its standard 16" tube connection, the Bleep Eclipse CPAP mask interface is compatible with all CPAP machines, APAP, and BiPAP machines. However, if you use the ResMed AirMini Travel CPAP, you'll need the AirMini CPAP Tubing Connection Adapter.
This universal compatibility makes the Bleep Eclipse an excellent choice for anyone undergoing therapy. Whether you're switching from nasal masks or a full face mask, the Eclipse CPAP mask interface seamlessly connects to your existing CPAP machine.
Is the Eclipse FDA-approved?
Yes, the Bleep Eclipse CPAP mask has received FDA approval under the number K172335, ensuring safe and effective therapy delivery from your CPAP machine.
How Frequently Should I Replace the Eclipse?
Typically, you should replace the Bleep Eclipse CPAP mask Connector Frame every 90 days to maintain optimal performance with your CPAP machine. The Halos, on the other hand, are single-use adhesives. Each box of 32 Halos will provide you with 16 nights of use.
How to Clean the Eclipse?
After each use, disconnect the Bleep Eclipse CPAP mask from your CPAP machine and clean the Eclipse CPAP mask interface frame with mild soap and water to ensure effective sleep apnea treatment. Avoid using soap that contains moisturizers, antibacterial agents, bleach, or antiseptics.
How to Apply the Halos?
For an optimal seal, cleanse your skin with a mild astringent like witch hazel or alcohol before applying the Halos. If your skin tends to be oily, you may need a stronger astringent. Do not use soap or makeup remover, as they contain oils and moisturizers that can interfere with the adhesive. If you have a mustache, trim the area just below the nostrils before applying the Halos.
Ensure that the metallic ring of each Halo is centered over each nostril. When applying the second Halo, be careful not to overlap the tape with the ring of the first Halo already on the nostril. You may need to trim the Halos with the paper backing in place to prevent overlap. Press the adhesive firmly onto the skin to ensure a secure, leak-free seal.
How to Remove the Halos?
Gently peel the Halos downward and away from the nose to remove them.
Can I Use the Eclipse if I'm a Mouth Breather?
If you breathe through the mouth during sleep, we recommend using a chin strap in conjunction with the Bleep Eclipse CPAP mask to prevent mouth opening. Unlike full face masks, the Eclipse focuses on nasal therapy, making a strap an effective accessory for mouth breathers.
MAGNETIC WARNING: Magnets used in the Eclipse™ are within ICNIRP guidelines for general public use. The magnetic strength is 65 mT. Ensure the mask is at least 0.8 inches (2 cm) away from any active medical implant or medical device (e.g., pacemaker, defibrillators, neurostimulators, cochlear implants, hearing aids), to avoid possible effects from localized magnetic fields. If patient/household member has magnets or metal in their bodies consult a physician prior to use.
