AirMini Setup Pack with P10 Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask | ResMed

I’ve had manydifferent masks but I really like this one. No air leaks and can even move around and sleep on my side unbothered by annoying leaks and very comfortable don’t have to wear it as tight!

Fantastic product, very glad I purchased. I am a long time ResMed equipment user. ResMed S9, Air Sense 10, and Air Sense 11 CPAP machines and Swift FX Nasal Pillow mask. I bought the Setup Pack to use with a recent AirMini Rental for a 3-week European vacation. (Separate purchase and review.) My pre-rental research indicated that I needed an AirMini compatible mask due to the different humidification method for the AirMini. (HumidX) To my pleasant surprise, the rental unit came with an adapter and hose that allowed the use of my conventional Swift FX mask without humidification. I frequently used my ResMed S9 CPAP without humidification in the distant past, so I gave it a try. It worked fine, but I did find I missed the humidification I have been using regularly in recent times. I then trialed the P10 Mask and HumidX system for my last few nights before departing for Europe. The P10 was verry comfortable and the HumidX cartridge worked great. As good as normal humidification in my opinion. the Setup Pack included a HumidX Plus cartridge for very dry climates too. I have not tried it yet but am saving it for use on a future trip to an applicable climate. The small size and simple humidification method for the AirMini made it very easy to travel with. I liked it so much that I purchased the rental at the end of my trip. Terrific product, I highly recommend it to anyone considering a travel CPAP unit. The CPAP Man rental program is very easy to use and I recommend it as well.

Just as you need to change your mask, hose, etc., every quarter, I did the same in advance with my initial purchase of the Air Mini, although I do not expect travel to require quarterly rotation. It may take more of a 6 to 8 month rotation before I turn things over, depending on travel, but then again, it could be sooner. In either event, I am prepared and if the need presents, I will buy another down the road.
